Dr. Esther Yoon is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Yoon specializes in family medicine primary care for adults, pediatrics, women’s health and geriatrics.

Dr. Yoon is a graduate of the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. Dr. Yoon completed her residency training at one of the premier family medicine residencies in the nation at Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura, California. Her experience at VCMC gave her a full spectrum integrated understanding and knowledge of inpatient medicine, obstetrics, emergency care, pediatrics and adult care. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

At VCMC, Dr. Yoon provided compassionate medical care to under-served individuals who experienced difficulties in accessing care. Dr. Yoon worked in partnership with her colleagues to ensure that the migrant farmworker population of Ventura County had maximum access to an optimal level of personal and family health care.

After accomplishing residency, Dr. Yoon served at Las Islas Urgent Care and Adult Protective Services through the County of Ventura. Her experience there provided her with additional training in urgent and clinical care settings, working with the elderly to understand and treat their unique medical needs.

She completed her post-graduate internship and residency in Family Medicine at Ventura County Family Medicine Residency, affiliated with the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Dr. Yoon now practices in Glendale, California. She and her practice staff are able to serve patients in the additional languages of Korean and Spanish. Dr. Yoon is dedicated to being a “whole family” provider rendering comprehensive family medicine care through a preventative approach, combining caring for patients in both hospital and clinical settings. The family medicine practice focuses includes: family-centered health to all generations, urgent care medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, minor sports injuries and civil medical examinations.

Dr. Yoon works in collaboration with colleagues to provide free medical services to individuals and children who lack access to adequate healthcare. She has traveled internationally to care for the underprivileged in India and Indonesia, as well as locally in the urban core of metropolitan Los Angeles.

Dr. Yoon is recognized as a 2015 Top Doctor by the Pasadena publication. She also is a recipient of the Vitals Compassionate Doctor award of 2014.
