Glendale Adventist Medical Center is a 515 bed full service acute care hospital in Glendale, California and is the largest medical center serving the Glendale, Burbank and San Fernando Valley region. It operates as the flagship campus of the Adventist Health network, open to all. Its mission is to improve the health of all communities and to share God’s love by promoting healing and wellness for the whole person. Key service areas include its cancer services, Neuroscience Institute, Heart & Vascular Institute, Orthopedic Institute and Spine Institute. GAMC has a more than 110 year legacy of delivering healing to Glendale and its adjacent communities. It has the distinction of being one of Glendale’s oldest businesses, having been established a year before Glendale was incorporated as a city in 1905. It is staffed by over 800 physicians, 2,400 employees and 1,100 volunteers.
